Travelling from Beuvais airport to Paris
There was so much going on the weeks before we were going to Paris so when it was time to book a taxi from the airport to the hotel I managed to book a pickup to the wrong airport! And they wouldn’t let me change it.. so in the middle of everything i just bought some bus tickets that looked like they would solve the problem.
Beuvais airport
On the plane I started to become a bit nervous. Would we make it on time? We were going to arrive quite late and we would have less than an hour before the last bus to Paris Vilette would leave!
Turned out I was worried in vain. The Paris Beuvais airport is very very small. It has two terminals and it took us a maximum of 20 minutes to get off the plane and find the bus stop.
Traveling with Aerobus
The Aerobus station is located 50 meters from the airport. There is only one exit in both terminals so you will easily locate it. The bus company drives to three different locations in Paris and you can either pre-book (like we did) to be sure to get a seat, or buy the ticket there at the station.
The tickets costed around 17 euro per person for a one way trip and the drive from Beuvais airport to Paris Vilette, where we were going, takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
To Paris Saint-Denis university it takes approximately 1hour 15 minutes. And to Paris La Defence Terminal Jules Verne it also takes about 1 hour 30 minutes.
The busride was smooth and we did the same journey on the way home!
Paris Metro
In Vilette we changed to the Metro. The metro stations have machines where you can buy tickets. A one way ticket for metro costed 2.5 Euro (year 2025) and the refillable travelcard costed 2 Euro.
This uppside down pyramid is located at the Pyramides subway stop right next to the Louvre
Things to consider
The buscompany is very determined that your ticket ONLY works for the EXACT bus and exact time you have booked. If you come an hour early you therefore cannot catch a earlier bus. And if you are going TO the airport, they also insist that you take a bus latest 3 hours before your flight departs.
Good luck!
